Our Funeral Home

Our funeral home at Bank Place/Blind Street in Tipperary Town provides families with a private and comfortable setting for wakes, reposing, funeral services and committal services.
Recently renovated, the funeral home has been designed to provide families with flexibility in how and where they choose to hold a funeral. It can accommodate both religious and non-religious services, from a traditional wake or reposing through to a full funeral or private family cremation service.
Wakes and Reposing

Families can use our funeral home for a wake or reposing, providing a dedicated space where relatives, friends and members of the community can come to pay their respects.

A private family room is also available within the funeral home.

Funeral Services

A full funeral service can be held in the funeral home, providing an alternative for families who do not wish to hold the service in a church or other place of worship.

Both religious and non-religious ceremonies can be accommodated, allowing families to arrange a service in keeping with their own wishes and those of the person who has died.

The funeral home is equipped with an audio and PA system for funeral services.

Private Cremation and Committal Services

Families choosing cremation can hold a private family cremation or committal service in our funeral home.

A dedicated curtain closing mechanism has been installed for committal services. This allows the committal ceremony to conclude privately within the funeral home, reducing the need for family members and mourners to travel onwards to the crematorium.

We can then make the necessary arrangements for the transfer to the crematorium.

Livestreaming is available for services held in participating churches and crematoria. Livestreaming facilities are also planned for our funeral home in the future.
